(Alex making a goofy face while his sister, Jane, holds branches behind his head so he can look like a caribou)My son, Alex (6) always asks me interesting questions. What a great conversationalist he is! Anyway, here's what our conversation sounded like yesterday in the car:
Alex: Uncle Garrett just got married, so he's not old, right?
Me: Uhh...old?
Alex: Yeah, he's not, like, THAT old, right?
Me: Well, he's older than you.
Alex: Yeah, he's not old like Grandma and Grandpa, though.
Me: No, he's not old like Grandma and Grandpa. He married Aunt Leslie, so he's about her age.
Alex: Yeah.
And this satisfied his curiosity. What a funny kid!
